Nagapabilin sa gihapon ang suporta ni Gov. Victor A. Tanco para kay Senador Manuel Araneta Roxas (MAR) matapos ang naulihi magdeklarar sang iya intensyon nga mangin bise presidente ni Senador Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino sadtong Septyembre 21 sa Club Filipino, San Juan, Metro Manila.
Sa mensahe ni Senador Roxas sadtong Septyembre 21, “hugot sa akon balatyagon ang pagbaton sang pagpanghangkat nga iduso ang pagbag-o sa aton pungsod.”
Suno sa Gobernador, “ang nangin desisyon sadto ni MAR nga magsakripisyo pabor kay Sen. Aquino isa ka banwahanon nga tikang kag nagpakita sang iya matuod nga pagkabalaka para sa buasdamlag sang Pilipinas.”
“Padayon ako sa pagsuporta kay MAR kasubong sang iya guinpakigbato nga pagbag-o para sa aton nga mga Filipino,” dugang nga pahayag ni Gov. Tanco.
Nagapati ang Gobernador nga mabakod ang “tandem” nanday Noynoy kag MAR para sa 2010 nga piniliay.
Si Sen. Noynoy Aquino, anak sang guinakilala nga “martyr” nga si Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. kag anay Pres. Corazon Cojuangco Aquino, parehas nga taga probinsya sang Tarlac.
Samtang si Sen. Roxas, anak nanday Sen. Gerardo “Gerry” Roxas sang Capiz kag Judy Araneta Roxas sang Negros Occidental.
Dugang diri si MAR, utod sang pinakalamharon nga kongresista sang liwat nga guinbuksan ang House of Representatives sadtong 1986, si Cong. Gerardo “Dinggoy” Roxas sang nahauna nga distrito sang Capiz kag apo ni Pres. Manuel Acuña Roxas.
